Information about personal data processing of users of the Information System for INSPIRE Public Services and Information Services (ISSI)

In accordance with the principle of transparency, the Ministry of the Interior as the controller is obliged to inform the data subject about the processing of personal data concerning the particular data subject. Information obligation in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereafter also “General Regulation”) applies to the controller when obtaining personal data directly from the data subject, i.e. the data subject provided or communicated her or his personal data directly to the controller.

The Ministry of the Interior provides information on the processing of personal data of persons whose personal data are used in the Information System for Public Services and Government Services INSPIRE (ISSI).

This information on the processing of personal data may be changed in the future based on legislative or operational needs. We will inform you of such changes, if possible.  Purpose of processing: Operation of the Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (hereinafter referred to as ‘INSPIRE’), whose main objective is to provide high quality and standardized spatial information for the development and implementation of Community policies at all levels in the Member States. In order to combine data and services from different Member States, it is necessary to harmonize data. The common data models, codebooks, map layers and metadata to be used in the exchange of spatial data are laid down in the Interoperability Regulation and the Technical Guidelines. This is in accordance with Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE), which is transposed by the amendment to Act 123/1998 Coll. on the right to environmental information, issued as Act 380/2009.Art. 13 par. 1 let. c)

 Storage time: The personal data of the contact persons are processed for the period of their actuality (performance of their work activities). The contact details provided in the feedback form are processed in accordance with the rules of the filing and shredding service and the requirements of Act No.181/2014 Coll., on Cyber Security and related legislation.Art. 13 par. 2 let. a)
 Are you obliged to provide personal data? Yes, if you want to be listed as the contact person of the obliged person in the INSPIRE or make a request using the feedback form for an error in the accompanying text, a suggestion for improvement, a complaint about data or metadata, other.Art. 13 par. 2 let. e)
